Our Approach

Service Management or Business Service Management, that’s the question!

Within Mansystems’ ITSM approach, we decisively offer 2 implementation models in order to meet organizations at their individual maturity level and to be able to continue to help them grow to the level of organizational maturity that they require .
The first implementation model stands for the well-established service management approach, while the second is a continuation of the service management model towards business service management.
Often it makes sense to begin with service management and extend to the business service management model at a later stage.

Service Management

Within the service management model, the major ITIL processes and planning are accounted for. The strength of the service management model lies in the close union of the different processes and the information contained in the whole service management ecosystem. Adding Mansystems’ planning module, makes planning on CI’s and/or resources manageable for all operational ITIL processes.

Business Service Management

Business service management is a natural progression of the service management model and allows for a better, pro-active control of the day-to-day problems that IT departments are facing. Business service management extends the service management model because it allows to map the business services to the IT-components that make up those business services. The business service management framework achieves this functionality by connecting the technical world with the service management (processes) world. This enables companies to automatically capture events occurring in the infrastructure and to determine the impact of those events on the business. Key in this framework is the CMDB in which the service model of the system, as well as the service management worlds are stored.

The 100% Method makes your Implementation Project a Success

Many implementation projects today are still not delivering what is really required and take longer or cost more money than was budgeted. Not to speak of the issues and challenges faced when the project is put into production.
With our vast experience, at Mansystems, we have designed a way of implementing that allows us to give you a 100% guarantee* for the desired and agreed upon project result.

Mansystems gathers an implementation team for you:

  • Your company’s Representatives
  • Business Consultants
  • Tool Experts
  • Functional & Technical Application Management Experts

This ensures that all stakeholders are present from the beginning. You can rest assured that the right objectives, constraints and design decisions are taken.

  • Have a formal agreement, following the design process, in which all parties commit to deliver the agreed upon items.
  • During the project, changes can only be made if all members of the implementation team agree and change the design accordingly.
  • Make sure that we customize as little as possible and try to find other solutions to the problem at hand. This does not mean no customization but every customization can pose a threat to the stability of the application in the maintenance phase.
