Merger Mansystems N-Tuition
Midsized IT-Service Provider shapes up for International Business
Mansystems acquires N-Tuition and grows despite crisis
Saarbrücken, January 12th, 2010 – Mansystems, the IT service provider for service management and data center efficiency, announces the business merger with N-Tuition Business Solutions AG, located in Neu-Isenburg, close-by Frankfurt am Main.
More business consultants
With this merger, the mid-sized Dutch enterprise Mansystems not only strengthens its presence in Germany, but at the same time expands its consulting competencies for IT Service Management, as well as the range of its product portfolio. From January 1st, 2010 N-Tuition will be operating under the name “Mansystems” and boost the consultancy business by adding 35 consultants. N-Tuition’s customer base includes companies that are DAX-listed and other mid-sized corporations.
„Our key account customers place increasing value on the fact that we attend international projects along the line of all process levels. The merger with Mansystems amplifies our know-how – something that our current as well as our future customers will benefit from”, explains Alexander Marinoni, CEO at N-Tuition, who will stay on as a member of the executive team at Mansystems Deutschland.
“With the takeover of N-tuition, Mansystems made a strategic movement, that will further strengthen the position of its German subsidiary in the market. IT services are a growth market despite the present economical crisis. Because we want to be able to respond to a strong demand for IT services in the future, we were looking for first rate qualified consultants”, comments Karsten Merschjan, CEO of Mansystems Deutschland GmbH in Saarbrücken. “That is why we are especially looking forward to the reinforcement by means of experienced consultants at N-Tuition, who will soon accompany the implementation of our IT service management and data center projects.”
According to a current field poll conducted by Bitkom*, it is especially the smaller IT-service provider who expects a positive market trend for 2010. Despite the crisis, about 31 percent of mid-sized companies were counting on a strong or very strong revenue increase for the 3rd quarter of 2009. Large enterprises are less optimistic: altogether only 26 percent of those organizations took to this view.
Complementary service management products
Not least, the takeover has effect on Mansystems’ product portfolio. Mansystems’ own IT service management solution ExpertDesk is complemented by N-Tuitions solution for the integration of business and IT processes, ARSXlink. In the medium term, Mansystems plans to increase the development of company-own products and to incorporate those into the project management.
